ASTM A53 Gr B Seamless Pipes feature carbon steel composition with maximum carbon 0.30%, manganese 0.29–1.06%, phosphorus and sulfur maximum 0.035% each, silicon minimum 0.10%, and trace elements including copper, nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium each maximum 0.40%. The pipes deliver minimum tensile strength of 415 MPa (60,000 psi) and minimum yield strength of 240 MPa (35,000 psi), with elongation minimum 30% longitudinal and 16.5% transverse. With density of 7.85 g/cm³ and excellent formability, these pipes support bending, flanging, and welding operations while maintaining structural integrity across temperature ranges.
